Doctors Vicki Guffey and Chris Birdwell are natives of Seymour and South Knoxville who believe in providing patient-centered, service-driven dentistry for a wide variety of patients. We focus on offering customized treatment options in a calm, friendly, family environment. In our practice, you will see the same faces over and over again, and you can expect to be treated like a member of our family.
Our practice was founded in 1974, by Dr. Ben Birdwell, and while the building is the same, our techniques and equipment are steadily updated. We believe in a rational approach to advancement, utilizing the newest technology when it is helpful, and retaining time-tested techniques when they provide the greatest benefit to our patients.
Our goal is to help as many people as possible feel good about their smiles. To do that, we offer multiple payment options and can even sequence treatment over a length of time to ensure that you are able to get the help you need. We accept most types of insurance and have professionals on staff who can help you navigate the red tape required to make use of your insurance policy. We can also help you create a line of credit via Care Credit.

Dr. Chris Birdwell
Dr. Chris Birdwell, a native of South Knoxville, has been creating beautiful, natural smiles for patients since 1997. He provides preventative and restorative treatment for patients of all ages, with a wide range of needs. His friendly, trained staff are available to help you make informed decisions and create an optimal plan for your health. Dr. Birdwell’s excellent relationships with experienced surgeons and skilled laboratory artists create reliable, predictable tooth replacements that look and perform like natural teeth.
